Bag in Box
Literally “bag in a box.” The flexible bag, designed to contain liquids and equipped with a tap, is inserted into a cardboard box.

Text alignment to the right or left. The non-aligned part is without justification.

Refers to the face of a sheet printed first, the front. The back is called volta.

A term used to indicate the degree and tone of white that each material possesses. It can be measured with a spectrophotometer.

In image acquisition and processing, white balance (or gray balance) refers to the adjustment of different colors' intensity. By measuring one of the neutral colors (white or gray), the correct representation of all colors is achieved.
Bistro
A shade of color tending toward dark brown obtained by overlapping the full (100%) colors of the trichromy (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow). Also see quadricromia.
AnchorBlister
A term that defines various packages in preformed plastic valves, heat-sealed on cardboard, used to contain small items for sale on displays. They can also be made of transparent plastic with an illustrative cardboard insert.
Boil in the bag
A cardboard packaging that contains a plastic bag made of food-grade film, resistant to heat and water. Foods can be heated in water or microwave without being removed from the bag, if they were frozen.
Bozza
The graphic or technical development draft is used to present the design idea. Its purpose is to illustrate the general features and give a rough idea of what the finished product will look like.
Brochure
A French term for a pamphlet.
Bromografo
Equipment for photoengraving film onto a plate using ultraviolet radiation lamps. It was used to create type in 1:1 scale and could be used with darkroom films until the introduction of lightroom films, which allowed for faster production times.
